AC Milan wins Serie A

A 0-0 draw at Roma was enough for AC Milan to win Serie A on Saturday night as the club were crowned Scudetto winners for the first time since 2004. Milan's success breaks city rivals Inter Milan's five-year winning streak in Italy and draws the clubs level on 18 league titles. Juventus hold the record with 27.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri, recruited to replace Leonardo last summer, took advantage of Inter's slump to lead the table for the majority of the season and a 0-0 draw in Rome on Saturday night ensured they could not be caught.
